Jesse Jackson Jr. said he wants his good name back after being identified in the "pay to play" scandal with Blagojevich. However, it is reported that reps for Jackson offered the governor one million dollars to have him selected.
It's pretty ironic that Obama won on a platform of change and this is happening with people he associates with for his old position.

i don't think that's ironic at all. i think that's called politics.
but i know one thing! i know obama's got lawyers working on this around the clock right now!!
I also don't think it's that ironic. I mean look at his predecessor, a guy who is currently in jail. I just think it's the political nature of the area and the good person to come from there just happens to be our president-elect. I'm not putting down the Chicago are because I know that corruption is rampant all over the place.
I just think the timing is the worst. Besides the fact that we are transitioning to a new president, our economy should be the priority and not some stupid corruption issue in Chicago.
