This is an article that details how some of the United States' top technology firms are possibly violating laws when deciding whether or not to hire new employees.
I found it interesting that firms would argue that such practices do not affect salaries of employees. Of course a firm can pay less salary for an employee that there is no risk of being poached. The company does not have to pay what the employee is worth in such a scenario.
