I felt that this s article fit in well with what other people were posting about. Trumps wall is huge in the news right now.

I thought that this article was interesting because trump has been promising to build this wall ever since he started running for president. He said that with building this wall the crime rate will decrease because the amount of illegal immigrants will be reduced. I feel that building the wall will not make a great impact on the crime rate because not all criminals are immigrants. Another question I have is who is going to be paying for the wall cause Mexico already stated that they will not be paying for the wall, if that's true how is the United States going to fund this. The money that will be spent could be used to better the health and education of the United States. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out

Potentially the 20% tariff could fund it? Having that, the tariff could go without being imposed or used to fund the systems that you mentioned. Trump is a businessman so maybe he has a plan to remain cutting costs and taxes with the wall being built. I do hope that he becomes more clear on these plans in the future so everyone in this country is on the same page.

I agree that building the wall will not make a significant impact on the crime rate. The majority of immigrants who enter the country are not criminals and even a small reduction in crime rates is not worth $20 billion. I believe that trump should focus his attention elsewhere and if he is going to raise funds they should be spent on education, health, and safety to try and better the country.

I agree with the points mentioned in the blog and the above comment that building the wall will not decrease crime rate. The cost of making the wall will also be heavy and that money that is potentially going to be used to build that wall, should be used in other resources to further decrease crime rate. Spending the money needed to build the wall on other fields such as education, might be more effective in decreasing the crime rate in the future.
