Chinese Oil Firms
This short article shows how Chinese oil companies are starting to work with other firms abroad. It also shows how, opposite of what was said in class today, does lack some natural resources necessary for use in production of other goods and services.

Globalization is a good thing and it is good for China and the people of China to understand the benefits of it. When people work together, even countries, it typically benefits both parties whether it be in resources or technology.
I believe China understands the benefits of globalization (as can be seen by these Chinese oil companies). I also think there is an unwillingness on the part of the Chinese to enter into the risk associated with globalization. It seems that they want their successes and failures to hinge on domestic performance. But when you begin to rely more heavily on other countries, their problems become yours as well.
