A “new normal” for the world economy

This article provides an interesting view of the economy as we move towards a "normal" state. Although things are turning around the economy still has lots of ground to make up.

This article is very informative and does not try to hide the truth or give false hope. It is related to what we just studied in class because in order for our economy to turn around we need lots of innovation and trade. Since, we all know that to have sustainable growth we need to increase productivity, which is spurred through innovation. I hope that of the two outcomes that this article suggested we get the first one, which has the economy back up to where it was before the crisis.
