Europe announces 200bn euro plan

The European Commission announced 200 billion Euro economic recovery plan, in hopes to save millions of European jobs. The European Commission hopes to boost consumer confidence and stimulus spending. Some of the money will will go to training, improving energy links and broadband access, and developing less polluting cars. But it is a difficult task for the European Commission because of the heterogeneity of Europe, there are many different countries, economic systems and institutions that translates to different needs. Some countries like the UK and German who has already taken step to battle against this economic crisis feels this stimulus package would be redundent. The EU would also have to start puerswading its 27 members to start pumping money into thier economy which could prove to be very difficult also.
