How Trump is fabricating existing laws

http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/22/politics/donald-trump-fabric-new-laws/index.html

This article was extremely interesting to me.  It is a story about interpretation.  I did not realize, or piece together, that no new laws will be passed or considered in Trump's attempt to execute his plans and ideas.  I am interested to see how he plans on continuing the policy changes and ideas through the already existing infrastructure of this country.  With the mentality that Trump has, it almost seems that Obama laid down the stepping stones for his ideas to be executed.  I am curious to see how these sort of fabrications and interpretations continues.

This was definitely an interesting read, on the surface the President appears to be making great strides (and in some ways, is). But the more practical economic aspects of wall-funding and tax code reform will have to pushed through Congress in order to be enacted fully. I anticipate major pushback from both sides of the aisle, as Congress is a choke point for moving forward on a lot of the President's promises. I wonder if all of his economic promises will come to fruition or will be stymied by Congress!

I do not expect Trump's wall or tax code reform to be passed anytime soon. Trump's presidency has been somewhat of a mockery the past few weeks with his executive orders and fake news briefs. This behavior from a president is an embarrassment to our country and has led to an even greater divide within our country. It will be interesting to follow Trump and see if he can fulfill his outrages economic promises and it will be also interesting to see how this affects our economy socially, politically and economically.

Yes, I very much agree with the above comments. It's nice to be reminded about the other roadblocks that are part of our government to keep the checks and balances between different government divisions. I think these type of reminders are good for the public to realize that things aren't necessarily as terrible as we thought they might be. It's mainly his threat and the social climate that has erupted as a result thats most disconcerting, and this very well has had explicit influence for policy.

I find it very interesting that Trump is allocating a large number of resources to have mass deportation to illegal immigrants. The article mentions how Obama conducted many deportations as well but he focused on illegal immigrants who were criminals. I feel that Trump's efforts to deport illegal immigrants would be better directed towards criminals as by allocating less resources towards deporting immigrants he can focus on other issues the economy faces such as education and the rising unemployment rate.

I agree with the comments above. I think it will be interesting to see how well our economy is doing at the end of Trumps presidency. the leaders of other countries don't take his serious and the ideas that he has for the United States will effect the economy and not all in a good way.
