American exports ~ $2.1 trillion

This short article depicts America's exports. We mostly sell good, despite our service oriented economy. Most of these goods are capital goods and industrial products. We export services are travel and, surprisingly enough, royalties.

This is a good article, check it out.

I think its very important to look at and analyze United States exports and the effect they have on other economices. Moving forward will trade shift in balances and the potential growth of the dallor verse the Euro have a large effect on our ability to export? It will be very interesting looking forward what the role the United States economy will have as an exporter.

I think that the most surprising thing about the article is the diversity of the goods that we export to different nations. We don't sell the same kind of goods everywhere, but instead selling large amounts of different things to each country. This shows that we can meet a wide variety of demand, but also that we won't lose a large amount of export income due to being outclassed in the production of one specific thing.

Most of the capital goods that we export from the US are made up of parts form other countries like China. So, technically we are just assembling them in the US and export them from here.

I was definitely interested in the data presented in this article. The fact that Canada and Mexico are still our largest trade partners was surprising, but shouldn't have been. The trade that we have with other nations is much more public, but we still export a lot especially to countries close in proximity.
