How Forigen Companies Boost U.S. Towns
This article is and interesting look at how the American Dream has changed due to this recent recession. Now the American Dream includes foreign companies helping keep small American towns alive.

Maynard makes a great point in her argument regarding protectionists who worry that foreign companies are stealing American jobs - you can work for a foreign company, but you work in the US. This brings back the idea that the "American dream" is not what it used to be in the time of our grandparents. Even if you are forced to work for certain companies that are not in the US, many individuals look at this as more of a solution than a problem because they will at least be employed even if it is outside of the US.
