Trump received great criticism for his inaction during the early stages of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now the President has stated that the Coronavirus task force will focus less on dealing with the pandemic, and will shift focus on reopening the economy and safety. Many have argued that this step is too sudden and may just spark a new recurrence of cases. What do you think? Do you think the president is acting too fast? While I do think think that reopening too fast will put more Americans at risk of contracting the Coronavirus and possibly dying, The economic impact of many states being shut down almost completely cannot be ignored. However, the focus should always first be on saving american lives rather than saving the american economy, as a matter of moral principle.
