Goldman Sachs Messages Show It Thrived as Economy Fell

Interesting view on how Goldman Sachs was ahead of the curve when the mortgage crisis happened. In late 2007 as the mortgage crisis gained momentum and many banks were suffering losses, Goldman Sachs executives traded e-mail messages saying that they were making “some serious money” betting against the housing markets.

I think this article only further supports the notion and belief that Goldman agents were betting against the same mortgage securities they were selling to their customers. This only further fuels the conspiracy behind Goldman's activities throughout the recession and the SEC lawsuit against them. This only further adds to Goldman's questionable behavior during the recession and I am very intrigued to find out the outcome of the lawsuit and it's ramifications to Goldman.
